VERY IMPORTANT - Patients need to click.

Ok, we are getting close to being able to register as new patients. Also, the first clinic day temporary location is set. Here is a full update, read carefully.

1) If you are not getting updates, check your spam folder, likely because this is an email campaign, that is where they are ending up.

2) The location for our first clinic day (and hopefully all, but I have to see how they react to day (1)) is The Cabins at HEALING SPRINGS in Crumpler, NC. It is about 5 miles North of West Jefferson, go ahead and google and start to prepare your understanding of how to get to me.

3) The patient portal is supposed to be set up by Next Friday, so expect an update to go to the portal and set up as a new patient and to sign up for membership.

4) When you sign up as a patient, be very thorough and include medications. I don't yet know if they have a "comments" section in the patient sign up, but if they do, please include briefly the last opioid regimen that you were prescribed.

5) I strongly encourage you to go to Amazon and search THORARINSON, and find my two books. I want you to consider buying your potential pharmacist the books to learn about who they will be receiving prescriptions from in the future. I would say to them that I wanted them to know about you and I before they start getting prescriptions in June.

6) Once I have a calendar set up, the first clinic day, is June 6th. There will be 20 slots open and will fill up first come first serve. Once you have been seen once, your next appointments will be scheduled at the time of your visit, so that you will have more certainty of future clinic appointments.

7) For those who miss the first clinic day, I plan day two to be June 20th (or whatever exactly two weeks later is, but I think I am mathing correct).

8) Remember that as long as we get everything set up correctly for your first visit, the next one will take place in the comfort of your home (telehealth). Telehealth visits will likely take place in the evenings before or after your 4 week appointment dates. Prescriptions will be sent in every 28 days regardless of when your telehealth appointment falls.

9) I will continue to onboard patients until I have 80 patients that are rotating between in-person visits and telehealth visits. After that, the clinic will freeze accepting new patient until I set up the clinic permanently next year. Right now I have about 60 folks that are receiving these updates that also live in my coverage area.

I will continue to onboard new patients every two weeks until we clear those that are waiting. So, even if are not seen in June, I do still have room for you. It just won't start until July.

10) Once again, if you do not live in my coverage area, you will not be allowed to establish care. Any memberships you sign up for will be refunded to you if I cannot see you. (if you live in Tazwell, VA reply back - I have a specific message for you two alone)

11) Be collecting your medical records. Also look for labs near you that I can send you to obtain your baseline drug screens and initial labs. (initial labs will only be wellness labs like kidney function, cholesterol check and thyroid).
