Welcome and Update

I am hopeful that everyone who has submitted their info will be included in this very short update.

First of all, I want you to know I am as excited about meeting you as vice a versa.

Zoom calls are still planned for Saturday, but I will know more Friday afternoon about if/when that looks like.

In preparation, please prepare:

  • a list of your current medications.

  • a list of your top 5 medical problems, don't worry your current meds will likely help me with the rest of your list.

  • If you are a chronic pain patient, we will talk about your last experiences with health care and your chronic pain.

  • If you are going to keep your current PCP - understand that my business model is primary care and pain managent, so some of you may effectively have two pcps because it is not in my nature to watch your non pain problems fester. As of right now, I am not insisting that I be your pcp, but we WILL address your primary care concerns over time too, even if I only give you advice on what to discuss with your PCP.

  • A word about me: I am everyone's dad. I have never met a more paternal person than I. The downside to this, is I can be very abrupt if you are doing things I am worried will hurt you. I have been known to call my beloved patients "a dumbass" if that is the way you are behaving. I promise to show you how much I love you first.

  • The upside to this is that I also believe that when we come together, it was ordained by God and that I have a responsibility to love you as one of my own and to not make careless mistakes because I am too arrogant to think. You WILL KNOW that you are loved.

When you submitted that form, you already put your trust in my hands, I do NOT take that lightly.

Yeah, you guessed it. I love you, no buts.

If you can read this

That means I have your contact info and your new patient form has been accepted given 2 assumptions, 1) you actually live in the coverage map, and 2) you are still engaged when I roll out new patient
